But for me…
it was never finished.
Not properly.
Not emotionally.
There was always something incomplete about it.
For years, I thought the track was the problem.
It wasn’t.
It was me.
I hadn’t lived enough yet to understand what it was trying to say.
So I stepped away.
From trance.
From music.
From that part of myself entirely.
And over time, everything changed.
My perspective. My emotional depth.
My relationship to sound.
When I came back to 2V2,
I wasn’t trying to fix it anymore.
For the first time…
I could actually hear it.
And that’s when it finally made sense.
This is not a remake.
This is not a remaster.
This is the version that could only exist now.

This is the completion of something
that couldn’t be finished at the time.
The original version reached as far as it could.

In 2004, I released 2V2.

And slowly lost connection to what made it real.
So I stepped away.
